Revenue Assurance is equally applicable to the old circuit switched (TDM) world as it is to the emerging packet only one. Assuring the delivery of synchronisation to core network elements (switches & routers) and any Network Terminating Units (NTU’s) that may be providing timing and traffic to end users remains critically important for Operators. SyncWatch probes are deployed in networks to gather and forward performance data to a centralised SyncWatch Server providing long term performance metrics that are used by Revenue Assurance team(s) to maintain / improve network reliability. |
