Mobile Operators
Mobile Operators
Mobile Operators are responsible for the quality of the services they deliver to their users via their handsets or mobile phones irrespective of network archicture and equipment used to move the services accross the network. Some operators own their own infrastructure, others totally outsource the transport network while others manage a hybrid solution.
SyncWatch allows mobile operators to evalaute equipment they themselves may deploy, or to prove that transport solutions they may purchase from other operators provides the synchronisation quality they need. In service, long term monitoring using the SyncWatch Managed system, ensures the early detection of problems which increases the chance the problems are solved quickly.
Fixed Operators
Fixed Operators
Fixed operators whose largest customers are the mobile operators, need to offer backhaul solutions that are technically compliant and can be delivered in the locations the mobile operator requires. Synchronisation is a key feature of the backhaul service and the fixed operator needs tools to be able to ensure and assure synchronisation quality.
SyncWatch ensures the fixed infrastructure is deployed with confidence and that the operator is always able to report its synchronisation performance internally or if required externally to its customers. Where strict SLA's form part of a backhaul contract, SyncWatch delivers all the information required to manage network performance and business risk.
Network Equipment Manufacturers
Network Equipment Manufacturers
Network equipment manufacturers need to provide their customers, the mobile operators and fixed operators, with solutions that meet their often very complex requirements. The key to success and differentiation lies in the availability of quality network and service management systems and tools.
SyncWatch Managed is designed to harvest independant synchronisation performance information from probes deployed across a network. SyncWatch can be integrated with other OSS / Management systems through industry standard interfaces. If tighter integration is required this is can be achieved through custom integration. True end-to-end synchronisation performance monitoring and reporting is possible through integration.
